Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care across various clinical settings, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and well-being. Your expertise will support diverse patient populations, from acute care to long-term and community-based environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a collaborative and innovative healthcare organization. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individual care needs. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions, and monitor patient responses to ensure safety and efficacy. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding management, and sterile dressing changes following aseptic techniques. Manage complex clinical cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, trauma medicine, and critical care situations in ICU or Level I/II trauma center settings. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner to document medical records meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct patient education on health coaching topics such as geriatrics, chronic disease management, hospice & palliative medicine, and behavioral health support. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and coordination of home & community care services. Qualifications Valid RN license in the state of practice with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Demonstrated experience in medical-surgical units, emergency room settings, ICU or trauma centers preferred. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding is a plus. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support accurate patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities, and those requiring long-term or hospice care. Ability to perform complex procedures including phlebotomy, venipuncture, IV insertion, lab specimen collection/processing, and ostomy care. Excellent communication skills for patient education, triage assessments, documentation accuracy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. $150.00 - $300.00 per hour
