Job Description
SALARY RANGE REFLECTS SPAN OF PROFESSIONAL LADDER.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the staff RN performs professional role functions in accordance with scope of practice and professional standards, including demonstrating the knowledge and ability to use and/or lead the scope of practice, professional standards and accreditation / regulatory standards, scope of practice for LVN and all other nursing personnel e.g. unlicensed assistive personnel. The RN demonstrates the ability to assess their own professional role performance, current knowledge of theory and principles related to discipline specific practice, and the ability to use a population based approach to determine patient needs. • All Flexible Schedule II employees will work two (2) shifts in a pay period. Unit needs may warrant more frequent use. Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation. •Minimum 1 year of experience preferredEDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE
1. Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required. 2. Experience and/or training in leadership preferred, if acting as a charge nurseCERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
1. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. 2. Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required. 3. Current ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 3 months of hire. 4. Current PALS( American Heart Association) required within 3 months of hire. 5. MAB is required to be completed on the first day of work. (Grandfathered:
existing employees must complete new requirements by 6/9/2025.) 6. Current NIHSS certificate required within 6 months of hire. 7. CEN preferred Successful passing of RCH basic arrhythmia course within 6 months of hire for a new grad RN and new to specialty.Similar remote jobs
