Registered Nurse Special Procedures

Reporting to the Special Procedures Charge Nurse this position is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members .

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE

1. Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required. 2. Recent critical care nursing practice within the past two years preferred (Radiology, ICU, Telemetry, Emergency Department) •Experience with conscious sedation preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

1. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. 2. Current CPR certification required. 3. Current ACLS certification required. 4. Current PALS certification required. 5. NIHSS certification required if assigned work in the Cath Lab within 6 months of hire
