The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with experience in various clinical settings, including critical care, assisted living, and hospitals. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate medical records. Duties Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments Conduct thorough patient observations and document changes in condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information Perform data collection and management for quality improvement initiatives Assist in infection control measures and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures Review medical records for accuracy and completeness, ensuring documentation meets regulatory standards Participate in public health initiatives and community outreach programs as needed Qualifications Valid nursing license with relevant certifications Experience in critical care, acute care, or hospital settings preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and epidemiology Familiarity with MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments and care plan development Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Proficient in data management and documentation review processes Understanding of OSHA regulations related to healthcare settings Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing Join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our patients.
