$60 to $67/hour (including stipend, based on experience) Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in an acute care hospital setting in Apple Valley, California. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in wound management, patient assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This opportunity is ideal for nurses experienced in acute and chronic wound treatment, patient education, and individualized care planning. Key Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans Perform wound dressing changes and specialized wound care procedures Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, and interdisciplinary care teams Educate patients and families on wound prevention and ongoing care Accurately document patient care and treatment plans in Epic EMR Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed Ensure compliance with infection prevention and hospital safety protocols Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting Support healing and recovery initiatives related to wound management Required Qualifications Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based Wound Care RN experience required Wound Care Certification or WCON required BLS Certification required ACLS preferred Experience with Epic EMR highly preferred Strong assessment, clinical documentation, and patient education skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Candidates with 5+ years of experience are encouraged to apply for travel opportunities For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
