This role is ideal for a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse who is confident providing high-quality bedside care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This Med Surg RN position offers 12-hour day and night shift options, a steady 36-hour weekly schedule, and the possibility of extension. You will work as part of a collaborative healthcare team focused on patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care. This is a strong opportunity for a nurse who values teamwork, supportive leadership, and the ability to make a meaningful impact with every shift. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult Medical Surgical patients according to established clinical standards and care plans. Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, document findings, and communicate updates to providers and interdisciplinary team members. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately. Support patient recovery through education, discharge planning, mobility assistance, and coordination of care. Respond appropriately to changes in patient status and escalate concerns using sound clinical judgment. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation throughout each shift.
Compensation and Benefits Pay rate:
$50.30 to $53.30 per hour.
Local rate:
$50.30 per hour. Travel packages can be discussed.
Contract dates:
7/6/26 to 10/4/26, with possible extension.
Schedule:
36 hours per week.
Shift options:
Day and night shifts available.
Shift length:
12-hour shifts.
