The Preoperative Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The Preoperative Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to nursing standards. The Preoperative Registered Nurse is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of the preoperative patient.
Minimum Requirements:
One year of preoperative experience preferred Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age ?? This is an excellent opportunity for RNs who thrive in fast-paced perioperative settings , are confident in Pre-Op and PACU Phase II , and excel at managing rapid patient turnover . ?? Housing Allowance:

Approx. $1,012/week ?? Schedule Details 4x10-hour shifts (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday with rotating day off Start times vary between 5:30 AM

? Work Setting Outpatient Surgery Center & Endoscopy Unit Fast-paced, high-volume procedural environment Focus on same-day surgeries and quick turnover cases ? Key Responsibilities Provide Pre-Operative and PACU Phase II care Support patients undergoing outpatient surgery & endoscopy procedures Monitor and manage patients receiving moderate sedation Ensure safe and efficient patient flow throughout the perioperative process Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and clinical staff ?? Requirements Active RN License (CA or compact if applicable) Minimum 2 years of RN experience Experience in: Outpatient surgery, endoscopy, or perioperative care Pre-Op and PACU Phase II workflows Fast-paced clinical environments with rapid turnover ? Preferred Experience Moderate sedation Pre-op care for open-heart patients Experience with total joint patients ?? Ideal Candidate Strong clinical judgment and prioritization skills Comfortable adapting to changing start times and workflow Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Able to thrive in a high-efficiency outpatient environment ??
