Setting:
Short Term Acute Care Hospital, Emergency Department Fast credentialing and dedicated assignment support Responsibilities Conduct rapid initial assessment and triage of ER patients; monitor ongoing patient status and respond to deterioration Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage fluid balance per physician orders; assist with procedures as directed Support physicians and the care team during emergent interventions; participate in code response and patient resuscitation efforts Document care, nursing assessments, treatments, and patient education in the electronic medical record Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical pathways and hospital policies Communicate clearly with patients and families; assist with discharge planning, referrals, and follow-up instructions as appropriate Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in California Certification requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke certification required NRP certification preferred CPI or TEAM certification required ER department experience and ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced setting Willingness to rotate days and weekends; no on-call required Minimum 5 years of ER experience preferred; will consider candidates with less experience based on patient volume and competencies Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing processes Nationwide assignments Extension opportunities for eligible performances Find more opportunities Interested in other openings?
