Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Peri-Anesthesia Care Unit team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the recovery of patients following surgical procedures. Your expertise in assessing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, and providing post-operative care will directly contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor patients' post-surgery and assess their condition, including vital signs, consciousness, and pain levels. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Provide education to patients and their families regarding post-surgical care and recovery. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care and smooth transitions. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Current RN license in CA or the ability to obtain one Graduate of an accredited nursing program BLS, PALS and ACLS certification required Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing care principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Compensation and Benefits:
This position pays a competitive rate of $59.00-80.00+ per hour depending on the level of experience. We offer a full suite of benefits including 401k with company match, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as voluntary Aflac plans.
