RN CA01 San Diego - San Diego, CA 92103 Apply Overview Salary Range $48.00 - $50.00 Hourly Position Type PT2/Seasonal Apply Description The following position is for employment with: Center for Oral & Facial Surgery 306 Walnut Ave #26, San Diego, CA 92103 We are a fast-paced, high-volume oral and maxillofacial surgery practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a safe, professional, and compassionate environment. We are seeking an experienced Part-time Registered Nurse to support our surgical team. Position Summary The part-time RN will assist with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care in an outpatient oral surgery setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy surgical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-operative patient assessments, including medical history review and vital signs on adolescent & adult patients Start IV's, medication administration, and patient monitoring including airway management during procedures Monitor patients in recovery and provide post-operative care and discharge instructions Respond promptly to patient needs and recognize signs of distress or complications Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient charts Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines Collaborate closely with oral surgeons, surgical assistants, and front office staff Provide exceptional patient care with professionalism and compassion Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience (oral surgery, outpatient surgery, PACU, ICU, or ER experience preferred) Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS preferred or willingness to obtain) Strong IV skills required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling Schedule • 3 /4 days a week • Hours may vary based on office needs (weekday coverage) No weekends
