This assignment is ideal for an RN with strong Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience, high-risk obstetric care expertise, and the ability to work across multiple perinatal units in a large academic medical center.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and LDRP patients across multiple perinatal units Assist with high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum recovery care Monitor fetal well-being using external and internal fetal monitoring systems Administer labor-induction and obstetric medications including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Terbutaline, and antihypertensives Other assigned duties by supervisor
Required Qualifications:
Active CA-state RN license Minimum 2+ years of combined Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN experience Travel nursing experience required Cross-trained and competent in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nursing Ability to float between all Perinatal Float Pool units and campuses Experience with fetal monitoring, labor management, cesarean recovery, and neonatal care Epic EMR experience preferred Required Certifications (must be American Heart Association):
BLS ACLS NRP AWHONN
