The San Diego campus is located near the corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street in Hillcrest. Scripps Mercy Hospital consists of two campuses in San Diego and Chula Vista. Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego's campus includes the O'Toole Breast Care Center, a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit). This is a full-time with benefits (64-hrs. per pay period position) 8-hour Evening shift position, located in Hillcrest. Position works 3pm to 11pm, working every other weekend and holidays. We invite you to join our team of Registered Nurses in the 36-bed Psychiatric Acute Unit where the RNs are responsible for: Providing direct patient care, observation and management of behavioral health patients. Assessment, plan and implement care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. Takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team. Manage de-escalation of behavioral disturbances This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives. Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
One (1) year of RN experience Current CA Registered Nurse License Current BLS from the American Heart Association Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications:
