Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions across our cloud environments, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and critical infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles, best practices, and emerging threats. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud security controls and architecture.
  • Develop and manage security policies and procedures for cloud environments.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure for security breaches and anomalies.
  • Respond to security incidents and lead remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security threats and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in cloud security engineering.
  • Deep understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
