Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-NICU Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional care to newborns by providing expert support in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As an experienced NICU Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in fostering positive outcomes for critically ill infants, working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Schedule:
Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30
AM Required Qualifications:
At least one year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent nursing experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse license for the state of practice Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Proven clinical experience in a
Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field Seven years of recent experience in Level
III NICU
settings (within the last ten years)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to neonates requiring intensive medical attention Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each patient Collaborate efficiently with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to promote the best outcomes Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and utilize advanced technology typical in Level III NICUs Effectively communicate with families, providing updates and education while offering emotional support Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards Adhere to safety protocols, infection control procedures, and evidence-based practices Take the next step in your nursing career by contributing your expertise to a dedicated NICU team.
