Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN)
- PACU for an exciting Local or Travel job in Napa, CA.
Responsibilities Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the PACU setting. Observe and document patient vital signs, pain levels, and recovery progress. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed. Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and emergencies. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. Minimum of 1-2 years of recent PACU or critical care nursing experience. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Experience caring for post-surgical patients and monitoring recovery from anesthesia. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to variable shift schedules. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a high-volume PACU setting. Experience working with diverse surgical patient populations. Strong patient education and discharge planning skills. Excellent collaboration and interdisciplinary communication abilities.
