$3,000 to $3,200 Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery and Postpartum patients Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery Circulate during C-sections and assist physicians during procedures Provide postpartum assessments and newborn care Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians, OB teams, and interdisciplinary staff Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EMR Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care Float between L&D and Postpartum units as required Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout the shift Requirements Active RN License Minimum 2 years of recent L&D / Postpartum nursing experience Previous travel experience preferred (No first-time travelers) BLS Certification required ACLS Certification required NRP Certification required Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification required AWHONN experience preferred Strong fetal monitoring and emergency response skills Must have C-section circulating experience Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
