Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Expertise in perioperative care is essential for this key role in a fast-paced surgical environment. As a professional with RN-Operating Room skills, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the healthcare team to ensure safe and efficient procedures for patients.
Key Qualifications:
Current, valid RN license Experience in an Operating Room or perioperative setting Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Effective communication and teamwork skills Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ACLS, preferred) Ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic environment
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room and maintain sterile field throughout procedures Assist the surgical team during operations, anticipating needs and providing necessary instruments and supplies Monitor patient status before, during, and immediately after procedures, reporting changes promptly Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation Adhere strictly to facility policies and safety protocols Participate in pre-op and post-op patient care and education Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills in a respected healthcare setting, with a collaborative atmosphere that values high-quality patient care.
