13 Weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity acute care hospital assignment in Santa Rosa, California. This role is ideal for a compassionate and clinically strong RN with recent Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience who thrives in a fast-paced maternal-child healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent obstetric nursing skills, strong fetal monitoring knowledge, and the ability to provide exceptional patient-centered care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum support. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing throughout labor and delivery Support vaginal and cesarean deliveries Provide postpartum nursing care and patient education Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatal teams, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system Support patient safety, newborn care, and family-centered care practices Float to similar maternal-child units as needed based on facility requirements Requirements Active RN License required Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required Recent Postpartum experience required (hard-stop requirement) Current BLS Certification required Current ACLS Certification required Current NRP Certification required Current AWHONN Intermediate Certification required AWHONN Advanced Certification preferred Strong fetal monitoring and obstetric emergency response skills required Epic EMR experience preferred For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807
