As a Regional MDS Resource Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while fostering a positive and supportive work environment. About the
Role:
As a Regional MDS Resource Nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our MDS coordinators, nurses, and other staff members in the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments and care plans. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, improving the quality of care, and promoting efficient workflows. You will also collaborate with the clinical team to identify and address concerns or issues related to MDS assessments and care plans.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and support to MDS coordinators, nurses, and other staff members in completing MDS assessments and care plans Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to MDS assessments and care plans Collaborate with the clinical team to identify and address concerns or issues related to MDS assessments and care plans Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the quality of care and efficiency of MDS assessments and care plans Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement Provide education and training to staff members on MDS assessments and care plans Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Requirements:
2 years of experience as an MDS Resource Nurse or in a related role Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field How to
