Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics to support an elementary school setting serving TK-6 students in Sonoma, CA. This opportunity offers a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, primarily focused on group therapy sessions, with a few assessments required before the school year concludes. Virtual support will be provided by a second SLP, ensuring collaborative care and guidance throughout the placement. Key qualifications and experience desired include: Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school settings Knowledge of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirements or completion Proficiency in delivering skilled therapeutic services to children Ability to manage a caseload effectively, including group therapy and assessments Familiarity with educational protocols and school-based communication disorders
Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to elementary students (TK-6), focusing mainly on group interventions Conduct speech and language assessments as needed before the end of the school year Collaborate virtually with an additional SLP to ensure best practice and continuity of care Document progress and maintain compliance with school and therapy standards Communicate effectively with students, educators, and families as appropriate
