Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with variable shifts
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Nursing or equivalent education/experience required; Master's preferred Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS, AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS, and AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certifications required Supervisory experience or strong demonstrated leadership skills Five years' ICU experience preferred Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide unit-based clinical leadership, supporting staff and ensuring quality patient care Supervise and mentor nursing and ancillary team members Coordinate care plans with health team members, patients, and families Lead quality improvement initiatives, manage staffing, and maintain compliance with safety goals Oversee department operations, address patient care issues, and facilitate staff professional development Participate in the hiring and evaluation of staff; manage scheduling and ensure cleanliness and safety of the unit
