Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Advance your career in surgical care as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This opportunity is designed for experienced RNs who thrive in fast-paced environments and are dedicated to providing exceptional perioperative patient care.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active and valid RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience BLS certification (current and in good standing) Knowledge of current operating room practices, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and maintain patient safety Strong communication and critical thinking skills Flexibility to adapt to evolving patient and department needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare operating room and instruments for surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs throughout procedures Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery to ensure optimal outcomes Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols Document all aspects of patient care and interventions accurately and timely Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding perioperative care Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required This contract offers a chance to work alongside a highly skilled surgical team in an engaging environment, sharpening your clinical skills and making a lasting impact on patient outcomes.
