1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Surgery position at an acute care hospital in Tracy, CA, requiring a CA RN license and ambulatory surgery experience. Details Outpatient Surgery unit within a newly built, high-tech outpatient surgery center at an 81-bed acute care hospital Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM) 13-week contract Charting system: Epic Free parking available in any unrestricted space Requirements Active CA RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 3 years of RN experience required Ambulatory surgery/Phase II recovery experience within the past 2 years required Epic EMR experience required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration Copies of all certifications required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care Develops and manages individualized, interdisciplinary care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors Fosters collaborative relationships among patients, families, physicians, and the broader care team through timely communication RNs are required to wear navy blue scrubs Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the assignment Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Tracy, CA offers easy access to outdoor recreation including the Bay Delta, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and San Francisco
