Job Summary:

The Credentialed School Nurse RN (CSN) provides oversight, clinical care, IEP compliance, staff training, etc.

Job Description:

Manage Student Medical Needs. Ensure health staff is following IHP's and IEP's. Supervise LVN's and health aides, provide trainiing. Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary. Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.

Pay :

$58-$60/hr. CSN /

Credentialed School Nurse Qualifications:

Education, training, skills, and experience necessary to carry out school nursing assignments, including experience maintaining accurate clinical and compliance records in a school or pediatric setting. Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Valid California School Nurse Credential (

Demonstrate experience supporting students with chronic medical conditions: Diabetic care and insulin administration G‑tube feeding Catheterization Seizure management Medication administration and monitoring Diabetes Seizure disorders Asthma and severe allergies (anaphylaxis response, EpiPen use) Strong ability to develop and manage Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) and contribute to IEPs , including determining appropriate nursing services and supports. Experience or ability to supervise and provide clinical direction to LVNs, health aides, and school staff. Ability to train school personnel on health procedures (e.g., seizure response, EpiPen use, diabetes protocols, medication administration). Stand or sit for extended periods of time Speak clearly in person and on the telephone Follow oral and written instructions May include lifting up to approximately 25 pounds regularly Current BLS/CPR certification required (Healthcare Provider level preferred).
