Nursing Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)•Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to join a high-acuity critical care team. This position is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced ICU environment and has experience caring for critically ill adult patients requiring advanced monitoring, life-support interventions, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations while delivering compassionate, evidence-based patient care. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU. Perform thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor for changes in condition. Administer medications, blood products, and intravenous therapies safely and accurately. Manage patients requiring ventilators, cardiac monitoring, vasoactive medications, and other advanced critical care interventions. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care. Adhere to infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies. Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid changes in patient status. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU nursing experience within the last 3 years. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field. Two (2) or more years of recent ICU nursing experience. CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification. Experience with Dialysis, SLED (Sustained Low-Efficiency Dialysis), or equivalent renal replacement therapies. GA01
