Job Description

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Join our team as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and make a meaningful impact on children's health in Vandenberg, California. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality pediatric care within a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting the well-being of young patients and their families.
Required Skills:
Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program (ACEN or CCNE recognized) Current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (web-based classes not accepted) Clinical competency as per service-specific credentialing requirements Experience in pediatrics demonstrating clinical proficiency Nice to
Have Skills:
Additional pediatric specialty certifications Prior experience in a military or federal healthcare setting Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program with relevant pediatric clinical experience Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Other Requirements:
Availability for 8-hour day shifts, five days per week Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications and licensure Willingness to adhere to federal and state healthcare regulations This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $74, with an additional $3/hour holiday pay (up to 40 hours/week) and $5.09/hour toward health and wellness benefits. The total package equates to approximately $82.09/hr, including benefits. The role begins on July 20, 2026, and runs through November 30, 2026.
