Aesthetic Nurse IWH Medspa Ventura, CA Job Details Part-time 23 hours ago Qualifications Esthetic laser treatment Nursing Injectable medication administration RN License Botulinum toxin treatment Skin analysis for skincare treatments Laser hair removal machines Dermatology Body sculpting devices Bachelor of Science in Nursing Dermal fillers Bachelor's degree in nursing Nursing Full Job Description Education Required Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) Valid RN License in the state of California Experience Required Minimum of two (2) years experience as an Aesthetic Nurse injector. Experience with injectables, lasers, body contouring devices and Radio Frequency Microneedling Knowledge of medical-grade skin care products. Position Responsibilities Aesthetic Nurse Injectors are expected to perform a number of different treatments including: Neurotoxin and Dermal Filler injections Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Laser Hair Removal Fraxel and CO2 laser skin resurfacing Radio Frequency Microneedling Body Contouring and energy-based Skin Tightening Essential Duties The duties and responsibilities of the Aesthetic Nurse Injector include: Examine and evaluate patient's areas of concern and overall skin health. Effectively administer patient treatments in a safe, timely manner. Consult and develop medical-grade skincare treatment regimens. Educate patients on treatments including alternatives as well as pre and post-treatment care. Aid in laser and device maintenance as requested. Produce and maintain accurate clinical treatment records in the patient's medical chart. Sustain proficiency through continuing education and training. Collaborate with staff and management as requested.
