2 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Ventura County, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience and ICU experience, with a CA RN license required. Details PACU setting within an acute care hospital environment Adult patient population Patient ratio of 1:3 4x10-hour variable day shifts between Monday and Friday, with shift start times ranging from 0800 to 0930 24 hours of weekend on-call duty per month One weekday on-call shift per week (Monday-Friday, 2300-0700) Floating required Weekend coverage required
EMR:
Cerner; also uses Pyxis and SBAR communication framework Requirements Active CA RN license required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS Preferred certification: TNCC Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required ICU experience required Trauma Level I or II experience preferred Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will not be considered for this position All time-off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of initial consideration 13-week contract
