Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in a Behavioral Health setting. June 22, 2026 Requirements Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS certification Approved Crisis Intervention Training Minimum of 5 years of Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, or Mental Health nursing experience Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessments, crisis management, and therapeutic communication Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced behavioral health environment Excellent critical thinking, documentation, and patient advocacy skills Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and document patients' mental, emotional, and physical health status. Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment. Provide therapeutic communication and emotional support to patients and families. Recognize and respond appropriately to behavioral crises and psychiatric emergencies. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor patient behaviors and implement appropriate interventions. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and coping strategies. Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection prevention standards. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient discharge processes.

Pay:
