1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a CA RN license and 2+ years of recent L&D experience, with night shift availability for a 13-week assignment. Details Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week High-risk pregnancy patient population RNs circulate in the OR but do not scrub 13-week contract Requirements Active CA RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP Minimum 2 years of recent, strong L&D experience required Fetal heart monitoring skills and fetal assessment competency required Must be autonomous and able to perform vaginal exams Comfortable managing high-risk pregnancies Epic EMR experience preferred 3+ years of recent L&D experience preferred Travel nursing experience preferred Two clinical references required from the last two places of employment, from a leadership role (Nurse Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse), covering the last year of employment Additional Information Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered as local A complete 7-year employment history is required, with explanations provided for any gaps exceeding 30 days A current L&D skills checklist (valid within the last year) is required for consideration
