Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into a vital nursing role and deliver high-quality care in a dynamic surgical environment. This operating room position offers the opportunity to support patients through a range of surgical procedures in a collaborative setting focused on excellence and patient safety.
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum one year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Strong knowledge of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care Outstanding communication and critical-thinking abilities Ability to stay calm and organized during high-stress situations
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team Monitor patient status, maintain accurate documentation, and respond swiftly to any changes Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and properly prepared Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times Offer supportive education to patients and families regarding procedures and postoperative care
