Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Certified School Nurse, where you'll support students across multiple campuses during the 26/27 school year. This part-time contract position (up to 20 hours per week) is ideal for a professional looking to make a meaningful difference in a vibrant, collaborative educational environment. As the school's dedicated RN and California Certified School Nurse, your days will balance both clinical and consultative work. You'll conduct vision and hearing screenings for approximately 450 students and facilitate IEP screenings for around 50 students, ensuring every child receives the attention and care they deserve. Additionally, your expertise and leadership will shine as you provide essential health trainings to staff on Narcan, Epipen, glucagon, and albuterol, directly impacting the school's readiness for health-related emergencies. You'll also serve as a valuable consultant, collaborating closely with the in-house health team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Active California Certified School Nurse (CSN) license required Registered Nurse (RN) credential with experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred Proven ability to conduct large-scale screenings and assessments Strong communication skills for training and team consultations Commitment to on-site work throughout the contract term
