Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with variable shifts (specific schedule provided upon placement)
Key Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum one year of recent CVOR nursing experience preferred BLS and ACLS certification required Strong critical thinking and communication skills Adept at working collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile protocols Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and supplies Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures Provide patient and family education regarding surgical processes and aftercare
