Call Guaranteed Hours:
36 Hours Weekly Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care in a Critical Access Hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong emergency nursing skills, trauma experience, and the ability to work independently in a rural healthcare environment while delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Required Qualifications Active RN License. Minimum three (3) years of Emergency Department RN experience. Strong Emergency Department and trauma care experience. Critical Access Hospital experience strongly preferred. Ability to work independently in a rural emergency setting. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification. Current PALS Certification. Current TNCC Certification. Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills. CEN Certification preferred. Responsibilities Provide emergency nursing care from admission through discharge. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans. Respond to trauma and emergency situations using established protocols. Deliver care utilizing ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and evidence-based emergency nursing practices. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Support positive patient outcomes through clinical pathways and best practices. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system. Participate in holiday, call, and on-call coverage as scheduled. Provide occasional coverage at affiliated locations as needed.
