Travel Oncology Registered Nurse - Aurora, Colorado

Schedule:

Night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00

AM Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care to oncology/hematology patients with complex medical needs Administer a variety of medications, blood, and electrolyte replacements according to physician orders Monitor and interpret telemetry for patients with acute hematology issues Support and educate patients and families navigating cancer treatment Assist with unit-specific procedures such as lumbar puncture, bone marrow biopsy, and thoracentesis Adhere to strict safety protocols when handling hazardous drugs

Required Qualifications:

Active RN license Current BLS certification Minimum of 1 year recent acute care oncology nursing experience Proficiency with Meditech EMR and Alaris infusion systems

Preferred Experience:

Chemo and biotherapy certification Step-down or high acuity experience Demonstrated compassion for oncology and chronic patient populations The unit's culture values adaptability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
