RN Internal Traveler

- Behavioral Health Services Inpatient Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 Full-Time Days, 36 hours per week Pay range is between $65
- 75/hr. Rates are market dependent and will be determined at the time of written offer. +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts. Boulder Community Health is seeking an Internal Traveler Registered Nurse
- Behavioral Health Services Inpatient who functions as a direct patient care giver within the unit's care delivery system, and integrates nursing theories and solution focused therapy into patient care.

- Colorado RN license in good standing.
- BLS from the American Heart Association. Responsibilities
- Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
- Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
- Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
- Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
- Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
- It is the expectation that all care providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the electronic medical record within their department.
- Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards.
- Is familiar with organization, department and job specific Environment of Care areas, including Life Safety, Utilities Management, Hazardous Materials Communications, Emergency Preparedness, Infection Control and Medical Equipment Failure.
- Leads/Participate in patient groups.
