RN Internal Traveler
- Med/Surg Boulder Community Health
- Med Surg Boulder, CO Nursing Full-time, Days

- Med Surg Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 Full-Time Days, 36 hours per week Pay range is between $70
- 80/hr. Rates are market dependent and will be determined at the time of written offer. +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts Boulder Community Health is seeking an Internal Traveler Registered Nurse
- Med Surg who functions as a direct patient care giver within the unit's care delivery system, with increasing independence, and integrates nursing theories in patient care.

- Colorado RN license in good standing
- BLS certification required through American Heart Association
- Six months to one year RN clinical nursing experience. Responsibilities
- Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
- Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
- Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
- Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
- Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
- Practices universal precautions appropriately.
- May be required to perform point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer.
- It is the expectation that all care providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the electronic medical record within their department.
