  • PCU Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 Full-Time Days, 36 hours per week Pay range is between $75
  • $85/hr.
Rates are market dependent and will be determined at the time of written offer. Boulder Community Health is seeking an Internal Traveler Registered Nurse for our PCU, where you will direct patient care giver within the unit's care delivery system. Integrates nursing theories in patient care. Contracts are 13 weeks. External applications accepted New hires cannot be ex-BCH employee. Weekends Required. On call required once every two weeks

Qualifications Colorado RN license in good standing. BSN preferred BLS certification required through American Heart Association ACLS certification required through American Heart Association NIHSS certification required through American Heart Association Responsibilities Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed. Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills. Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes. Interprets cardiac monitoring system strips as ordered by physician. Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition. Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care. Communicates clearly in all aspects of electronic and verbal documentation. Performs point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer. It is the expectation that all care providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the electronic medical record within their scope of practice.
