You will be part of a leading interventional pain management practice dedicated to providing advanced, evidence-based care to patients suffering from chronic pain and complex conditions with ketamine infusion therapy. As a Ketamine Infusion Nurse, you will be a core member of our infusion care team — administering IV ketamine therapy to patients in a calm, focused outpatient environment. You'll work alongside our interventional physicians with manageable patient ratios in a boutique medical practice. Responsibilities Place and maintain IV access Administer intravenous (IV) infusions, including medications, fluids according to established patient tailored established protocols Assess patient conditions through comprehensive vital signs monitoring. Maintain accurate medical documentation Monitor for adverse reactions or complications during infusions, responding swiftly with appropriate interventions such as medication adjustments or emergency procedures. Coordinate post-infusion discharge planning and safe patient release Communicate findings to the supervising physician and care team Requirements Valid RN license in good standing with current state certification. BLS and ACLS certification Proven experience in infusion therapy or related fields such as critical care, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinics. Proficiency in IV insertion Strong assessment skills including vital signs measurement and physiological evaluation; experience with laboratory testing is a plus. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
