Plastic Surgical Associates of Fort Collins is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to become an integral member of our AAAASF-accredited office surgical team. Our boutique practice specializes in cosmetic plastic surgery, minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, regenerative medicine, and longevity medicine. Led by an internationally recognized plastic surgeon, our practice is recognized for clinical research, clinical trials, physician education, product development, and innovative treatment techniques that continue to advance the field of aesthetic medicine. We believe exceptional patient care begins with personal relationships, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things well. Position Summary This flexible part-time position combines perioperative nursing with quality assurance, accreditation support, patient education, and clinical operations within our AAAASF-accredited office surgical facility. The schedule is primarily Tuesdays and Wednesdays, although surgical volume varies throughout the month. During lighter surgical schedules, or when the surgeon is traveling for educational meetings, the RN will assist with maintaining AAAASF accreditation standards, quality improvement initiatives, patient follow-up, clinical documentation, surgical inventory, staff education, and other clinical operations. As our practice continues to grow, this position offers opportunities for expanded clinical responsibilities based on experience, additional training, and practice needs. ResponsibilitiesPerioperative Nursing
  • Prepare patients for surgery and assist throughout the perioperative experience.
  • Monitor and document patient care according to AAAASF standards.
  • Assist with postoperative recovery and discharge education.
  • Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness and office safety procedures. Clinical Services
  • Assist in maintaining AAAASF accreditation standards and required documentation.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct postoperative patient follow-up.
  • Provide preoperative and postoperative patient education.
  • Assist with staff education and clinical competency activities.
  • Maintain surgical instruments, sterilization records, equipment maintenance schedules, and surgical inventory.
  • Assist with administrative reporting and clinical documentation.
  • Support clinical research studies and clinical trial activities.
  • Participate in the implementation of new technologies and clinical services.
  • Perform additional clinical responsibilities appropriate to licensure, training, and experience. Qualifications
  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse license.
  • Current ACLS certification (required).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Previous OR, PACU, ambulatory surgery, office-based surgery, plastic surgery, or procedural nursing experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while anticipating the needs of a busy surgical practice. Why Nurses Enjoy Working Here
