Job Description

Valley View's Ortho Clinic is looking for an RN Navigator to join our team! Eligible for Employee Referral Bonuses…refer a friend and earn $$$ Nurse Navigator needed to support clinic and OR functions, including surgical scheduling, patient education, coordination with clinic schedulers, and procedural assistance.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Provides individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to overcome barriers within the healthcare system and facilitate access to all of the resources available to patients. Acts as a link between patients and care providers to facilitate clinical and supportive care services. Functions as a single point of contact among referring physicians, patients, and other clinical caregivers for the purpose of empowering patients in dealing with the disease and the treatment. Facilitates patient appointments for diagnostic procedures in the laboratory, imaging, surgery and other specialty areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Current Colorado RN license or the ability to obtain. Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program 1 year of nursing (RN) experience BLS per American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date. Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program 1 year of nursing (RN) experience BLS per American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
Experience:
Ortho or Surgical RN experience.

Ability to form strong alliances with referral and resource agencies in the community Ability to provide holistic care for patients with education and information about their illness Active listening skills Ability to anticipate change and react accordingly Clear and persuasive communication skills among all levels and audiences Clinical assessment skills Comfortable in role as troubleshooter or problem solver Experience in conflict resolution Sensitivity to cultural and ethnic groups Demonstrated leadership style that builds and maintains a climate of trust and inspires collaboration with medical staff and departments Expert knowledge in medical, surgical, and radiation oncology Knowledge of legal and professional guidelines and scope of practice Ability to multitask Ability to work in a self-directed environment Sound decision-making and critical-thinking skills Symptom management experience Team builder with a collaborative style, yet also a decisive thinker Time management skills We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. SALARY RANGE
‎$43.22-$64.83/hour Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
