Job Description:
Exhibits excellent customer relationship skills, including telephone and personal contact with the call center's customer groups (physicians, nurses, vendors, fellow employees). Establishes and maintains a high degree of awareness and knowledge of participating medical services. Demonstrates proficiency in appropriate regulations. Coordinates ambulance transfers from hospitals to other facilities and post-acute care providers. Responds to all callers in a customer-centric transfer and transport call-center using service profiles and healthcare information. Consults with on-call physicians regarding patient care issues, needs, and concerns, and provides advice when appropriate. Collaborates with facilities to manage all external patient movements. Facilitates inner facility transfers, maintaining communication with attending/accepting MD and referring facility. Communicates with physicians and outlying facilities if placement is problematic. Documents and tracks all hospital transfers and transports. Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor's of Nursing [Required] Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
N/A Work Experience:
2+ years experience in ed/icu and or house supervisor role [Preferred] 5+ years of nursing experience [Required]
