Key Qualifications:
Current RN license, valid in Colorado or compact states Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room experience Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and aseptic techniques BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) Excellent critical thinking, communication, and adaptability Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide skilled, compassionate perioperative nursing during various surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient safety Maintain accurate, detailed patient records before, during, and after procedures Ensure strict compliance with infection control and hospital policies Participate in ongoing education and process improvement within the department Support patients and families with information, reassurance, and advocacy
