What we do… Our mission is to improve people's lives through better vision and outstanding patient experiences. What you will do… Provide direct care to patient. Address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Assist with the maintenance of
PRE-OP/PACU
equipment and inventory. Responsible for monitoring patient's physiological status in the immediate, pre/postoperative environment. Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously, and as needed, about patient conditions. Intercedes to maintain optimum homeostasis. Demonstrate knowledge of airway management and procedures and the ability to use the equipment. Carry out medical/surgical asepsis during treatments and special procedures.
Coordinate patient care:
gives explanations and educates patient/family, as necessary. Protect patient's sensitivities and right to privacy.
