We Have Your Next Adventure." Let's be honest. Most job ads sound like they were written by a committee trapped in a conference room with stale coffee and a thesaurus. This is not one of those ads. The Lodge at Red Rocks is looking for an exceptional Wound Nurse who knows the difference between a pressure injury and a paper cut, can spot a skin issue from across the room, and believes great patient care is both an art and a science. Now, about our leadership. Our NHA may very well be the best Nursing Home Administrator on the planet. Is that scientifically proven? No. Have we checked every administrator on Earth? Also no. But until someone presents compelling evidence to the contrary, we're standing by the claim. Why? Because he has built a team that people actually enjoy working with. You know those places where staff members hide in their cars before their shift? This isn't one of them. You know those places where everyone says, "That's not my job"? Definitely not here. Instead, you'll find a group of nurses, therapists, CNAs, providers, and support staff who genuinely care about residents, support one another, and somehow manage to laugh while doing difficult work. We're looking for a Wound Nurse who can: Assess, monitor, and manage wounds with clinical excellence Develop and implement wound care treatment plans Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams Educate staff on wound prevention and skin integrity practices Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance Help residents heal while preserving dignity and quality of life What You'll Need To be considered, candidates should have: Active Colorado RN license in good standing Wound care experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care Current wound care certification (WCC, WOCN, CWCN, or equivalent) preferred, or willingness to obtain certification Strong assessment and documentation skills Knowledge of current wound care standards, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities A positive attitude and a healthy sense of humor What You'll Find Here Supportive leadership that actually supports A collaborative clinical team Residents who deserve outstanding care A culture where excellence matters A workplace where people know your name and appreciate what you do If you're tired of being treated like a staffing number and ready to join a team that's building something special, we'd love to meet you. The Lodge at Red Rocks Skilled Nursing Facility Where wounds heal, teams thrive, and apparently the world's greatest NHA comes to work every day. Apply today and see what all the fuss is about.
