!! $3000. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care by performing physical examinations, vital sign assessments, and patient history intake with enthusiasm and precision. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheterizations following strict protocols to ensure safety and efficacy. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, laboratory processing, and medical imaging procedures. Manage complex cases including acute pain management, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), hospice support, and infectious disease treatment. Operate EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner to document patient information accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate physiological status, monitor vital signs, and identify changes requiring urgent intervention or triage. Support discharge planning by coordinating follow-up care, providing health coaching, and educating patients on medication management and lifestyle modifications. Ensure infection control standards are upheld through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Participate in case management activities for patients with complex needs including those with developmental disabilities or requiring specialized memory or behavioral health support. Maintain accurate medical documentation including CPT coding for procedures like suturing or dermal fillers when applicable. Demonstrate proficiency in advanced skills such as airway management, ventilator operation, spinal taps, or gastrostomy tube feeding when required by the setting. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with current certification to practice in your state. Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, long-term care facilities, hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), or emergency medicine environments. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner. Hands-on experience administering injections, IV insertions/infusion therapy, phlebotomy, catheter care, and sterile processing techniques. Ability to perform physical examinations accurately while demonstrating excellent patient assessment skills. Familiarity with specialized areas such as geriatrics (including Alzheimer's/dementia care), pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), hospice care, infectious disease protocols, or trauma center procedures is highly desirable. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Physical ability to stand for extended periods; capable of lifting or repositioning patients using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and compassionate interaction with patients of all ages and backgrounds—including those with disabilities or developmental challenges.
