Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract - Labor & Delivery. 13‑week assignment in Pueblo, Colorado. Provides high‑quality labor and delivery nursing care, supporting obstetric patients and surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high‑quality labor and delivery nursing care to obstetric patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout all stages of labor and delivery. Circulate in the OR during C‑sections, supporting surgical teams and assisting with sterile procedures to facilitate smooth operations. Monitor fetal and maternal vitals using GE Corometrics EFM System, promptly identifying and responding to any abnormalities. Titrate and manage titratable drips such as oxytocin and magnesium sulfate, adjusting rates according to physician orders and patient needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs, to optimize patient outcomes and ensure adherence to hospital protocols.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA). Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. At least 2 years of high‑risk Labor & Delivery nursing experience. Ability to circulate in the operating room and read fetal monitor strips. Physical stamina to meet the demands of the unit and float to postpartum as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Previous travel nursing experience.
