Setting:

Inpatient Med/Surg in a Critical Access Hospital Responsibilities Directly provide acute care and swing bed patient care as a team member following evidence-based practice. Assess health status through data collection and clinical evaluation. Deliver health teaching and counseling to patients and families. Administer therapies and treatments; perform delegation, supervision, and teaching as appropriate. Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans; document assessments, interventions, and care coordination accurately and timely. Collaborate with ancillary departments and physician providers to address medical, social, and spiritual needs in a culturally and age-appropriate manner. Requirements Current, active Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado. Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred. At least 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting (Med/Surg or equivalent inpatient care). BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred. Ability to work nights (3x12-hour shifts) and every other weekend; reliable for 36 hours per week. Eligible to practice in a Critical Access Hospital environment and able to provide care in an inpatient Med/Surg unit.
