Peak Pediatrics is a growing provider with a role open onsite primarily at our Thornton clinic,. We ask our team members to partner with our families to achieve the best care for each individual patient and recognize that caring for our patients includes caring for the significant people in our patients' lives.
Pediatric Telephone Triage Nurse Essential Job Functions:
Provide comprehensive, age-appropriate care to patients ages newborn to 18 years in an outpatient pediatric setting with a variety of physical and mental illnesses. Will perform patient care via telephone triage and occasionally in clinic. Collaborates with the patient's family and medical team to best promote healthful practices and disease prevention.
Qualifications and Specifications:
Education :
Current RN license in the state of Colorado Current BLS license, PALS required within 6 months of hiring. Bachelor's degree in nursing strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience required, pediatric triage experience strongly desired
Skills & Ability:
Ability to set priorities, identify and resolve problems effectively and efficiently. Ability to work independently and as a team. Critical thinking and multitasking skills required. Professional and effective written and oral communication skills. Basic computer skills required. Epic experience is ideal Ability to quickly assess pediatric patients via telephone
Attitude :
Exhibits a "Can Do" attitude and is willing to go above and beyond to help patients, families, and other team members. Exhibits professional, courteous, and compassionate behavior in person and over the phone.
Pay:
From $38.00 per hour
