1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel assignment in Thornton, CO, requiring a minimum of 1 year of acute care Cath Lab experience and an active CO or compact RN license. Details Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting, featuring 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites Staff-to-patient ratio of 3:1 in the procedural area Equipment includes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab EMR system: Meditech Procedures performed include LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests Shift hours: 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM On-call responsibilities required alongside the rest of the team 13-week contract Requirements Active CO or compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date) Minimum 1 year of recent, acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience required At least 2 years of total clinical experience required Holding and monitoring experience preferred US SSN and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible Candidates must be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab for on-call response Team of 9 staff with engaged physicians and a high-functioning unit culture Located in Thornton, CO, with proximity to the Colorado mountains and skiing
